Eco-chic: the new Rayburn 345W | With eco-chic one of the biggest trends for some time, it’s hardly surprising sales of Rayburn’s solid-fuel models have risen dramatically over the past 12 months.
People are increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of their everyday lives and are looking for ways in which they can make a difference.
Concerns over dwindling resources and a greater knowledge of the impact our high-tech lives have on the environment, have seen many of us move toward more traditional ways of living, putting solid fuel firmly back on the agenda.
Now – with the launch of the exciting Rayburn 345W which features a grate designed specifically to burn wood only – those looking to do their bit to help safeguard the future of the planet have a stylish new cooking and heating option.
Wood is considered a sustainable, renewable and carbon-neutral fuel, which means it releases only the same amount of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere as it would have done if it were to decompose on the forest floor. Wood is also a sustainable fuel.
The Rayburn 345W has been approved by HETAS as a wood-burning only appliance. It has a boiler output of 40-45,000 Btu’s suitable for heating six to eight average-sized radiators.
