Aga, committed to the environment: the wind turbine at Telford in Shropshire | Firstly, the team at Aga Update would like to take this opportunity to thank all the readers who’ve written to us after the publication of the first issue. We received lots of positive comments, letters and even poems, one of which appears in this issue.
Update is your newsletter, so please write telling us your Aga story, or to let us know about anything you’d like to see included.
At Aga, we’re committed to doing the best for the environment. So much so, in fact, we’ve recently installed our own 5 kW wind turbine here at Telford in Shropshire. It’s being used as part of a larger project to research alternative energy sources for our cookers.
With wood being a carbon-neutral resource, our solid-fuel and wood-burning collection of Rayburn range cookers and Aga stoves is proving very popular with green-minded customers.
We’re also committed to ethical and environmental projects, in line with our long-established ethical trading code.
A new addition to the Aga Cook Shop collection is the range of Cup Cake textiles. All are produced from organic cotton and chemical processes have been kept to the minimum in their production.
A great way to update an Aga is to give it a little ‘cosmetic surgery’. Our new brochure on the subject has all the information you need to see how this can work.
There’s also a great deal available to Rayburn owners looking to update their cooker. A new trade-in promotion offers a saving of £300 on a new Rayburn, when an old cast-iron range cooker is traded in at the same time.
This issue of Update, then, is packed full of the latest developments from Aga. We hope you find it useful.
If you have any comments, suggestions or stories you’d like to share with us at Update, please forward them to Update, Aga Marketing Department, Station Road, Ketley Telford TF1 5AQ.
