Celebration: Scottish cuisine from the people who farm and produce it

Sue Lawrence
Headline, £14.99

Award-winning food writer Sue Lawrence has travelled the length of Scotland to seek out the sublime raw ingredients the country has to offer. Her celebration of Scottish produce reveals an abundance of culinary delights, from raspberries picked in Perthshire, to venison found in the Highlands and honey harvested in the Borders. Sue has also met the people who farm and produce Scotland’s food, including an Orkney barley miller, a Stornoway black pudding butcher, an Isle of Mull cheese producer and a Dundee sausage-marker.

A celebration of the Scottish landscape and history, as well as its food, A Cook’s Tour of Scotland contains 120 delicious recipes and is not only a must for anyone visiting Scotland’s shores but for the cookery shelves of anyone who loves seasonal, healthy, freshly grown, caught or farmed food.
