Divertimenti has two stores in London - one on Brompton Road in South Kensington and the other in the perennially
fashionable Marylebone High Street.

And with a comprehensive mail-order service and online shop it couldn't be easier to pick up brilliant buys for your kitchen.

Divertimenti caters for all cooks, from beginners to experts, and there are products to suit all budgets.

There's also a wedding list service for the bride and groom with list registration and purchase in either of the two stores or online.

Cookery  school

Both shops are home to the Divertimenti Cookery and Wine School where demonstration and hands-on classes run during the day as well as the evenings and at weekends.

Courses cover subjects as diverse as Thai cookery and French Bistro-style food. Students get to taste the dishes, and are given copies of the recipes to take and try at home.

Wine  classes

Wine classes take place around a huge oak table and numbers are limited to 14 per course. Tastings last around two hours and are accompanied by tasting notes and specially selected cheeses.

The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, with the emphasis on personal opinion and lively discussion.

The Cookery and Wine school students receive a 10% discount off purchases made the day of the booked class.

Café Divertimenti

Marylebone High Street is also home to Café Divertimenti, which is open throughout the day. Homemade muffins and pastries are served for breakfast, with a varied menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes served at lunch. Tea, with homemade cakes, is served throughout the afternoon.

With all this on offer, as well as knife sharpening, copper re-tinning and gift vouchers, it's easy to see why Divertimenti is a recipe for successful cooking.
