Method We are going to make healthy lamb burgers in pitta bread pockets. They are great fast food for a young crowd.
Take your pre made or bought lamb burgers and place on the grill rack in the oven. Take the lamb burgers out half way through cooking, turn and grill the other side.
At this point place the pitta breads under the lamb burgers on the grilling rack, until warmed through and puffed up, ready for stuffing with the lamb burgers.
Once the burgers are cooked you are ready to stuff them into the pitta breads.
Cut around the pitta bread to form a pocket. Place the lamb burger inside the pocket and add a slice of cheese, some tomatoes and greenery (added goodness).
