This is possibly my favourite winter soup. It is easy to make and tastes delicious. The big green leeks I was once given in Wales made soup that I shall always remember - the flavour was outstanding!

Hi Maggie....have bad my Rayburn for 3 years now...its does the hot water and central heating too...and as far as best pots and pans..I virtually have a set of the cast iron Aga ones....the frying pan with lid it great as is the griddle pan. The casserole dishes are superb...actually all are used all the time and its so lovely to be able to put them in the oven etc......if there was one downer on them that is that if one suffers from arthiritus in hands etc...they can be very heavy, especially the frying pan. I adore my red Rayburn its the best cooker I have every had...enjoy yours when its installed.
