Farm shop: specialises in organic, fresh, local and seasonal food |
The estate is maintained by the Bamford family, following traditional farming methods, focussing on animal welfare and sustainability.
The farm shop offers dew-fresh organic vegetables and fruit in season, and fully organic status beef, lamb, venison and poultry from the sister estate in Staffordshire.
Specialist cheeses are hand made by traditional methods in the Daylesford Creamery, and the organic kitchen and bakery on the estate gives you the chance to buy bread and a marvellous range of cakes and pastries.
Tarts, quiches and a wide range of some of the finest ready-to-eat and speciality foods are also available at the delicatessen in the farm shop.
Next to this is the The Garden, where the interest in things organic turns horticultural: with some of the finest gardening tools, fresh plants and herbs, any green-fingered enthusiast will be in heaven.
The beautifully restored Bamford Barn, next door, contains examples of the Bamford Collection of clothes and items for the home.

Mind, body and spirit: all is |
Mind, body and spirit are also catered for in The Hay Barn, devoted to yoga and revitalisation - from yoga classes to relaxation and Thai massage, there are specialist teachers and therapists to relax and rejuvenate you.
By farming traditionally, sustainably and organically, the team at Daylesford constantly strive to produce the best food they possibly can for the customer.
The animals are raised with the utmost care for their natural health and welfare and all crops, fruit and vegetables are grown organically.
The use of chemicals, additives and artificial growth-promoters are prohibited in the raising of the livestock and crops, and seasonality plays a big role.
