Mitch Tonks opened a specialist fishmongers in Bath in 1995.
In 1997 it won the "Best UK Fishmonger" award from Country Living Magazine and the Food from Britain Agency. In the same year he added the Seafood Café above the shop.
In September 2000 the Which Good Food Guide voted it "Best Seafood Restaurant".
There are now four restaurants in the group and all have appeared in the Good Food Guide since their launch. A fifth will be opening soon.
But for those who can't get to one of their shops, there is a home delivery service.
Fresh fish, straight from the morning's landings at Newlyn fish market, Cornwall, you can choose from over 24 different types of fish as well as 10 varieties of shellfish and 5 smoked seafoods.
Prepared to your requirements, skinned, filleted, scaled and gutted, heads removed, however you prefer, and delivered overnight.

Based in Argyll at the head of Loch Fyne, The Oyster Bar, Shop and Smokehouse are housed in a former cattle byre.
A mile across the water at Ardkinglas is Oysters, the mussel and oyster fishery where quality fresh and smoked seafood, shellfish, meat and game is produced.
Standard delivery days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (UK mainland delivery charge is £5, but orders over £60 qualify for free delivery. Minimum order value £20 before delivery).
