Innocent Smoothies: helping people look after themselves |
This is reflected in everything from its use of green electricity at Fruit Towers, to sourcing fruit from places that go the extra mile in terms of looking after the people that work on the farms, and the environment.
As of 2006 all of its bananas come from Rainforest Alliance-accredited farms.
Every single year it donates 10 per cent of its profits to the innocent foundation, which funds NGOs in the countries where it sources its fruits.
The Innocent village fete will be back in London's Regent's Park on

It all starts at 11am and runs until 7pm

New for this year is the Village Voice, an area full of story telling, performance, poetry and live theatre.
Have your say at speaker's corner or get your creative hat on and add a line to the fete's very own poem.
Play our Giant Boggle or swap a couple of old books for new ones at our book tombola.
There'll also be an acoustic bandstand and our patented al fresco ballroom.

And there's massages and a feel good area if it all gets a bit much. There'll be lots of smoothies to taste too.
Now in its second year, the Innocent village fete is a great day out for all the family and the perfect way to while away the hours on a hot summer's day.
So, pencil it in your diary, scribble it on your hand and tell all your friends.
