Warm to these two exciting new stove models from Aga
With the renewal of interest in wood burning, the Aga stoves range offers a great range of stoves to suit every taste and pocket - with the quality and intelligence you'd expect from Aga.
A stove is a great way to heat your home, and can be a great way to reduce your energy costs and carbon footprint.
And following on from the huge successes of Aga's sister company Stanley - the market leader in the Irish stoves business - the company has launched two exciting new models.
The new models are the Little Wenlock Classic and the New Aga Minsterley Stove.
Little Wenlock Classic The Little Wenlock Classic is a compact stove designed to fit into widest variety of rooms and fireplaces, is one of the most energy efficient stoves on the market today - at over 80% efficient, and incorporates an air-wash system to keep the glass clear of soot and smoke haze.
The stove is the perfect blend of old and new, combining cutting-edge design with traditional casting beauty.
Featuring one of the highest efficiencies in the world and an unbeatable airwash system you are ensured a consistently clear view of the flame.
The Little Wenlock Classic is a compact stove which has been designed for smaller homes and standard fireplaces. By using a combination of meticulousness, engineering and intelligent design the Little Wenlock Classic is exceptionally efficient and has been designed with an output of just under 5kW to avoid the necessity of having an air vent in the room. It is supplied with a supplementary wood grate, offering the option of burning wood or mineral fuels.
81.2% efficiency
Secondary air intake -- improved combustion leading to cleaner glass and better view
Wood burning or solid fuel model options (supplementary wood grate)
Output under 5kW - meaning no need to have an air vent in the room
Top or rear flue
The New Aga Minsterley StoveAga has also expanded its range of larger cast-iron stoves with the Minsterley - a new central heating boiler stove capable of heating 6-8 radiators.
Ideal for the family home, the Minsterley can be used with either wood or solid fuel, thanks to its interchangeable fuel plate.
Designed with outstanding hot water performance as a priority, the Minsterley stove has an excellent central heating/hot water to space heating ratio. This means that, unlike other similar appliances, excess heat isn't given into the room.
To achieve its excellent fuel efficiency, the Minsterley utilises Advanced Airwash Technology. This is a combination of clever design and precision engineering, which uses hidden baffles, channels and ducts in the construction of the stove to manipulate the air circulation, resulting in efficient and clean combustion - as well as low emissions.
Versatility is also key to the Minsterley, with its interchangeable fuel plate, primary and secondary air intakes for better control and top or rear flue outlet option.
Central heating provision
Thermostatic (water temperature) control
Interchangeable wood burning plate
Reciprocating grate for solid fuel
Top or rear flue outlet option
Overnight burning capability

Question Please can you tell me if it's possible to boil condensed milk in its tin in the Aga oven (in a saucepan with water) as it would take several hours on the top of the stove. I want to do this to make a banoffee pie.
