Orange Blossom Sorbet

Who is English Provender?
Roast lamb is a traditional dinner – served with plenty of mint sauce of course. English Provender’s mint sauce with balsamic vinegar is the one to choose. It’s recipe uses only the finest ingredients and is carefully balanced to perfectly complement the sweetness of new season lamb.

Orange Blossom Sorbet
(Serves 4-6)

Orange Blossom Sorbet: add to your menu for a different pudding

What do I need?
250g sugar
450ml water
250ml lemon juice
2 tbsp English Provender orange blossom water

What do I do?
Put the sugar and 250ml of the water into a heavy based pan, heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes to form a syrup.

Stir in the lemon juice, orange blossom water and the remaining 200ml cold water.

Freeze the mixture. After 45 minutes stir briskly to break up the ice crystals.

Replace in the freezer until firm.

Remove the sorbet from the freezer half an hour before serving.
